This is my first year teaching in Canterbury School; I first came to Las Palmas during my erasmus year where I studied translation and interpretation at the university as part of my degree. I graduated from Cardiff University in Spanish and Sociology (BA joint Hons), I did my PGCE (FE) at Cardiff University and also qualified as a secondary teacher. I have taught in Wales and I have a wide experience teaching infants in Las Palmas. I really enjoy living in Las Palmas and I enjoy visiting Wales during the holidays, my main interests are reading, travelling, meeting new people, sports (rugby) and languages (Spanish and Welsh). I hope to settle in Las Palmas long term and to continue to be very content in both my work and personal life.

This is my second year as a teacher at Canterbury School and I´m enjoying teaching my new class K2D. Before joining Canterbury I taught in schools across Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. Prior to teaching I worked for the government in Human Resources. I am orginally from Liverpool and I like to watch football and some other sports especially tennis! I managed to go and watch Spain play football in the olympics during the summer holidays. In my spare time I enjoy reading, swimming and salsa dancing. When I´m in England I like to visit my family and friends especially my six neices and nephews!
